15 Hidden Signs of Liver Damage
It may be hard to believe but many of us today are living with very ill livers and we don’t even realize it. Our lives involve many things that add high loads of toxins into our bodies. Well-cooked meats, preservatives, drugs of all kinds, alcohol, pesticides, artificial fertilizers, car exhaust fumes… everything around us is loaded with more toxins than we would find in a natural, wild environment. And all these end up in our bodies. It’s our liver’s job to get rid of these, but our liver is only one organ doing many jobs. And in most people’s bodies, their liver is the overworked IT guy who’s the only thing holding the computers together.
15: Poor appetite and nausea could mean poor digestion, or a swollen liver.
When your liver is suffering, your digestion and stomach cavity suffer too. Your liver helps get rid of excess toxins and proteins, assists in regulating insulin, and generally keeps your appetite going strong. If your liver bloats up so much that there is no space in your stomach for food, and it’s so ill it can’t process toxins properly, your appetite is going to go away. Some people don’t experience a loss in appetite, but instead suffer nausea and even vomiting every time they eat. Between poor digestion and a cramped stomach, this is inevitable.
