Walking is not only one of the best exercises that you can take part in, it’s a great way to bond with your family and have some fun. You can take an evening walk after school or work and talk about your day together, and maybe even find out something that you otherwise wouldn’t have known! In the digital age full of social media and video games it can be healthy mentally and physically to take a break in nature and get some fresh air and exercise.

3. Take The Kids To The Park

If you don’t live in a walkable neighborhood, you can drive the family to a nearby park. Not only will your kids rejoice at the extended recess time, but it’s possible you just might find your inner kid as well! When was the last time you swung on the monkey bars or squealed going down a slide?

Bike riding can be a great way to get in shape and bond with your family, and also to have fun! Next time you’re going to take a trip down the street to the post office, or grocery store for one or two items, why not take the bicycles? Make sure your kids are wearing the appropriate safety gear, and ride on the sidewalk with you.
